Shrimp Alfredo Pasta with Steamed California Medley

Ingredients

California Medley Package

  • 8 oz broccoli, cauliflower, carrots sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Shrimp Package

  • 6 oz shrimp

1/2 & 1/2 Package

  • 8 oz 1/2 & 1/2

Garlic Butter Mix Package

  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 2 tsp butter

Parmesan Package

  • 4 oz parmesan cheese grated

Pasta Package

  • 6 oz pasta

Instructions

Prep/Package Shrimp

  • Take tails off shrimp and package in a sealed package.

Package Pasta

  • Package pasta in a sealed package.

Prep/Package Alfredo Sauce

  • Package 1/2 & 1/2 in a sealed container.
  • Combine butter and garlic in a small container.
  • Package grated parmesan in a container.

Prep/Package California Medley

  • Cut up broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots. Package in a sealed package with salt and pepper.

Steam California Medley

  • Place vegetables in medium sauce pan with about 1 inch of water and cover. Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes. Check every few minutes to make sure water has not evaporated, add more if needed.

Cook Pasta

  • In a large pot, boil salted water. Once water boils, add noodles. Cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente, 9-11 minutes.
  • Drizzle olive oil, cooking oil, or butter on pasta to keep pasta from sticking.

Make Alfredo Sauce

  • Place garlic butter mixture in medium sauce pan on medium-high heat until butter is melted.
  • Add heavy whip and 2 oz (half) parmesan cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce is thick.

Cook Shrimp

  • Add shrimp to alfredo sauce and cook until shrimp is done, 5-8 minutes. Shrimp should be pink and cooked through.

Combine with Pasta

  • Add alfredo and shrimp to pasta, toss until coated. Add salt and pepper to taste

Serve

  • Divide pasta and vegetables between plates. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over pasta and serve.
