All American Burgers with Homemade French Fries

Ingredients

French Fries

  • 1 c potatoes
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil

Burger

  • 2/3 lb burger

Onion

  • 2 slices onion

Lettuce

  • 2 leaves lettuce

Cheese

  • 2 slices cheddar cheese

Hamburger Buns

  • 2 buns

Dill Pickle Aioli

  • 1/2 c dill pickle aioli

Dill Pickle Aioli Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

Prepare French Fries

  • Peel and cut lengthwise into about 1/2 inch slices. Then cut the slices into 1/2 inch fries. Package in a sealed package.

Package Burger

  • Season with garlic salt and pepper. Package in a sealed package.

Package Cheese

  • Package cheese in a sealed package.

Package Onion

  • Slice onion into 1/4 inch slices. Package slices in a sealed package.

Package Lettuce

  • Remove leaves from head of lettuce. Package lettuce in a sealed package.

Package Buns

  • Package buns in a sealed package.

Package Aioli

  • Package aioli in a small container.

Bake Fries

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees f.
  • Put homemade fries on a sheet pan and place in oven for 20 minutes. Stir after 10 minutes. For crispier fries leave in the oven longer.

Cook Burger

  • Place burgers in frying pan or on a grill on medium heat for 20 minutes turning every 5 minutes flipping every 10.
  • Add cheese and let melt.

Serve

  • Divide buns on plates. Place burger on bun. Top with dill pickle aioli sauce, onion and lettuce.
  • Divide homemade fries onto plates and serve.
